SOS is a web-based Supplementary Cementing Materials Optimization System
(referred to as the SOS Project)
SIMCO Technologies was mandated in 2008 by the EcoSmart Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC, to develop this decision-making system. The SOS enables to reduce the quantity of Portland cement in concrete by determining the optimum level of replacement by supplementary cementing material (SCM).
