Eric Ouellet is Vice President & COO for SIMCO Technologies. Throughout the years, he has developed a great expertise in the inspection and characterization of damaged concrete structures. His expertise is recognized in the elaboration of specification documents, maintenance and repair procedures, design and optimization of durable concrete mixtures and supervision of construction work. His ever-growing knowledge in service life prediction, especially with the use of STADIUM® software, has led him to work on numerous projects that encompass aspects of durability, failure analysis, premature deterioration of concrete and rehabilitation strategies. He has demonstrated the ability to build long-term client relationships and determine cost effective solutions to design, process, or regulate issues.

Mr. Ouellet is also an expert in roller compacted concrete (RCC), including the design and optimization of RCC mixtures using a new technology that he developed based on packing density.

Eric Samson is the Senior Researcher and the Director of Research and Development at SIMCO Technologies. Specialized in ionic transfer modeling in reactive porous materials, Dr. Samson has worked at SIMCO Technologies since 1997 on the development of the STADIUM® software, which allows the prediction of the degradation of concrete structures exposed to chemically aggressive environments. His education combines knowledge of numerical techniques, such as the finite element method and knowledge of materials. He has participated, as principal author or coauthor, in the writing of over forty scientific papers in the field of service life prediction of concrete structures.

He currently supervises a research team of engineers and scientific researchers dedicated to the development of the STADIUM® software and the extension of its features.

Dr. Bissonnette was recently appointed as Director of Engineering at SIMCO Technologies, after acting as Senior Scientific Advisor for the past eight years. He is also an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at the Université Laval, where he co-supervises the Industrial Research Chair on Durable Repair and Optimized Maintenance of Concrete Infrastructure. This chair, which includes eleven major industrial partners from the cement and concrete industry, has led over the past 15 years to major practical developments in rehabilitation of concrete structures.

Dr. Bissonnette’s research focuses, in particular, on the volumetric behavior of cement materials, cracking, self-leveling concretes, shrinkage-compensated concretes, instrumentation and development of characterization tests. His expertise, particularly in repair of concrete structures, is recognized worldwide. Dr. Bissonnette is a member of several technical committees of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM), the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and the North American working group on concrete repair (CREEP). He is the author or coauthor of more than 75 scientific and technical articles. Dr. Bissonnette is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Quebec Order of Professional Engineers).

Julie Conseiller, Eng.

Ms. Julie Conseiller cumulates over 20 years of experience in civil engineering. She worked as a Certification Agent for the BNQ - Bureau de normalization du Québec concrete infrastructure plans and products and was responsible for the Eastern part of the Quebec province. She also coordinated research activities for Laval University Research Center on Concrete Infrastructures where she was responsible for managing special budgets and working capital of over 10 million dollars.

Ms. Conseiller is Director of Administration for SIMCO since the beginning of 2010. She is responsible for the management and effective execution of all administrative functions related to the company's business activities. Her responsibilities also include the management of human resources.

Ms. Conseiller holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Laval University and is a member in good standing with Quebec's Order of Engineers (OIQ). Ms. Conseiller also acts as an examiner for the certification of ACI technicians.

Mr. Sebastien Viau is SIMCO's in-house corporate counsel since 2002. He is responsible for all legal, corporate and commercial aspects of SIMCO's business activities and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Mr. Viau's responsibilities include the negotiating, drafting and reviewing of contracts and agreements, in addition to the management of all corporate governance requirements and the protection of intellectual property. Mr. Viau also handles legal affairs pertaining to SIMCO's human resources.

Mr. Viau holds two Bachelor degrees, one in Political Science and another in Law as well as a Master's degree in Corporate Law. He is a member of the Quebec Bar Association.

Mr. Charles Laflamme has over 20 years of experience in various technology industries. In the last 10 years, he has held CFO positions in both public (TSX Venture) and private firms. He has highly diversified operational experience in most areas of finance, including extensive financial planning and debt/equity financing, acquired in both large corporations and start-up companies, locally and internationally. He also has extensive management experience in strategic planning, administration, contract negotiation, human resources, IT, and purchasing.

Mr. Laflamme holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Université Laval, in Quebec, Canada and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as well as a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts.
